Pete
Sorce has been singing since he was 8 years old. He was
an original “American Idol”, performing and winning the
Ted Mack Original Amateur Hour and appearing on the national show in
New York. A few years later he recorded his debut disc, “I’m
To Young Too Love” and began a career singing in night clubs
across the country.
Pete has performed
with a “Who’s
Who” list of legendary
entertainers including: Les Brown, Nelson Riddle, Frank Sinatra Jr.,
Mel Torme, Jack Jones, Red Norvo, Joey D and The Star Lighter’s,
Frankie Laine, Sally Struthers, Duke Ellington and went to high school
and performed with Al Jarreau(imagine talent night at that school)!
Pete also was lead singer for many years in the popular rock groups
Big Apple and Toll Free as well as a member of the world famous Allen-Bradley
Chorus and Orchestra.
Pete is now back doing
the music he loves – big band –singing
the music of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis
Jr. to name a few. Just don’t let the big band music fool
you Pete can fire up any audience with an exciting rendition from Swing
to Rock to R&B!
